Lihpao Plaza
Lihpao Plaza is a shopping mall interior design created in China. The interior covers 100,000 square meters across two levels of retail and themed dining areas. Six themed zones guide visitors through the mall, using zigzag alleys, stairs and red lanterns, light and shadow with window grilles, books combined with stairs, and botanical elements. Common materials were selected to meet the construction schedule and budget. Virtual reality and three-dimensional interactive projection form interactive spaces. The layout supports leisure, shopping and entertainment in one place.
Lihpao Plaza Shopping Mall by Alex Chiang was identified as a creative illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Lihpao Plaza Shopping Mall received the Golden A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design competition that celebrates superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
