The Jinmao Yueshan
The Jinmao Yueshan is a property sales center in Wuxi, China, with a total area of 1300 square meters. The interior follows a new Chinese style that draws on local cultural elements. The layout places the sales space in the front area and the working space at the back. The design takes its inspiration from the nearby mountain and river landscape, Zen, the tea ceremony and calligraphic art. Marble, gray wood finishes, bronze stainless steel components, beige leather, hand-painted wallpaper and wire glass are the main materials. The materials were selected to suit a limited budget.
The Jinmao Yueshan Sales Center by Weidong Cao has been identified as an exceptional illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. The Jinmao Yueshan Sales Center was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design competition that rewards outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
